yes , it finally happened. the huge ottapalam taluk was bifurcated into ottapalam and pattambi. though , it took nearly four decades for the gods at thriruvanthapuram to heed these humble valluvanadan souls , it was a joyous occasion for us . the next step must naturally be the creation of the valluvanad district as population of malapuram is about to touch 5 million and palakkad is huge at 5000 sq km . sadly the responsibility for this task also lies with shri C P Mohammad MLA of pattambi , as he proved it last week that he was the only true representative of our people. all we hope for is he coming off with flying colors in this endevour.
